DESCRIPTION:
Driver – Parallel Lines is the fourth game in the Driver video game series developed by Reflections Interactive Company. The previous three games were focused on multiple cities while this game only focused on New York City. The previous game’s storyline was also revolving around the undercover cop Tanner while this game was focused on a getaway driver named TK. The third game of the series did not have good reviews and that is why this fourth installation of Driver – Parallel Lines was developed. It was void of all the mistakes the players pointed out in the previous games and hence it got good reviews because of this factor. It was released in March 2006 for Play Station 2.
PLOT:

In the game Driver-Parallel Lines, the storyline revolves around the character of TK who is an excellent driver. His friend Ray helps him enter the criminal world by introducing him to Slink. Slink assigns TK with his two best men to breakout Candy who is a criminal mastermind from an island called Rikers Island.
Upon Candy’s jailbreak, TK is introduced to their leader Corrigan as a reward. Corrigan is a corrupt undercover cop and to impress him and help him in his desire of running the cocaine cartel, TK captures Martinez who is the leader of the Colombian cartel. But sadly, TK is betrayed by Corrigan and his group as he is blamed for the murder of Martinez, who was actually killed by Corrigan. TK was imprisoned for 28 years in which he plottedrevengeon everyone.
After TK’s release, he reunites with his trustworthy friend Ray who informs him that Corrigan is now the police chief while other members of the group are successful businessmen. TK takes down all of the members one by one with the help of Maria Cortez. TK and Maria go through a lot together to the point that TK rescues Maria from Candy’s lair.
After TK realizes Maria to be Martinez’s daughter and finds out, she is trying to find her father’s true killer. They both kill Slink and Candy while Corrigan tries to flee in a helicopter. TK takes down the helicopter and lets Maria and her people deal with him and this where TK departs.
